Sadie Amara Calvano has become well-known for her character Violet Plunkett that she played on the CBS show Mom. An California born, Calvano was initially interested in gymnastics competition. Later, she decided to pursue a career as an actor. Her screen debut came in 2010 on a segment of CBS show "NCIS,". The biographical crime movie J Edgar was her big screen debut just a year after. In the past, she's established herself as one the most promising actors in the field. In the 'NCIS' series, her performance has been nominated by the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance in a Television Series that features the appearance of a Guest Actress aged between 11 and 15 years old. In 2013, she was selected again to receive the Young Artist Award. This is for her role on the Disney XD show 'Kickin' It'.
